March was an intense month.
Really.
Lots of wonderful and exciting things happened. It also was the month of heartbreaking news from people we care about.
Here's the low-down:
Really.
Lots of wonderful and exciting things happened. It also was the month of heartbreaking news from people we care about.
Here's the low-down:
1. After playing 'The Michael Jackson Experience' for 3 straight hours with a few of my great Florida friends, it's become clear that we need a Wii and my children must learn the dance to 'Thriller'.
2. We said 'Goodbye' to great friends moving onto brand new adventures in New York.
3. I had the honor of speaking to the women in our stake about the blessings of sisterhood. (It's funny that I would be asked to speak about that since I never had sisters growing up...yet, I've accumulated more sisters than I ever could have hoped for.)
4. The top-secret project I'm working on got a little more ready to share.
5. We lost two beautiful and courageous friends. I'll write more about that later. I'm still gathering my thoughts. My heart is broken for their families. I'm still breathless over the contrast in which these sweet souls were taken from us and can not quite find the words.
6. I realized I can not, without experiencing the rage of a mother bear, watch horrid mothers verbally abuse their children. Seriously, the anger is rising again. You better believe that if you are going to humiliate and belittle your children in public, some of us are going call you out. You've been warned.
7. As a family, we were reminded of the absolute joy of loving your surrounding neighbors. It can make a home truly heavenly.
8. We fell a little more in love with Florida. The Gate River 15k run is an amazing way to see the city of Jacksonville. There are a lot of really cool people in Jax!

As I say goodbye to March, I sign-off with my March Drawing. One of my blogging buddies will receive a great little bundle of randomness filled with stuff unique to our current home town. Prepare to be dazzled. Just let me know with a comment here or on Facebook if you want to be in the drawing.
You are all wonderful, sweet friends. Life's too short not to tell you that.

Life brings it's well roundedness of eye openers, joys, sorrows, stretching, and rollercoasters. And you are such a beautiful example of taking life to the heart and making the best of what it all entails. I sure love you and thank you for your most wonderful example.
PS... the flavored oils you gave me are most wonderful thank you!! Going to be using some for a combined mutual activity! :)
Ooooh, ooooooh, oooooooh (hand raised, bottom jumping up and down in my chair) I want to be in the drawing. Random stuff sounds wonderful!
Steve took half day off to bring Jessica to Iholany's funeral which starts in a few minutes. The family wants the primary kids to sing two songs.
Such a heartbreak! :(
