I'm back! This post is dedicated to Lorie, Laurie, Chrissy, Leslie, Kirstin and all my other patient friends who haven't threatened to hang me by my leg hairs for all the dead blog air (which are, by the way, long and practically braid-able due to the fact that I haven't had a moment to shave them in weeks...sorry TMI).

As for me, here's my goings-on
*Accepted a calling in my church to serve as Stake Relief Society Secretary. Essentially, I help the woman's leadership of our area by keeping records, making phone calls, taking meeting minutes and being a regular 'go-to' gal.
*Tended our two amazingly awesome 12 year old cousins for 2 and a half weeks while their parents took a fabulous jet-setting holiday to Germany.
*Turned another year older, and hopefully wiser. I was feted by my husband, friends and neighbors with a surprise block party complete with a brand new fire pit.
*Limped to a finish at the end of the homeschooling year and was successful.
*Came up with, what I think, is a brilliant concept for a new book and began writing it....I just really need to finish it this time.
*Fell in love with a new show (new to us that is) named 'Chuck'.
*Said Auf Wiedersehen to my parents who were offered a job and promptly high-tailed it out of Southern Arizona.
So, there you have it...my defense for hairy, swimsuit unworthy legs, chipped and peeling pedicure and my lack of blogging.
But that's all gonna change now that I've defibrillated my blog a couple of times and I can make out a steady rhythm.

HOORAY! Thanks for the updates Trish!
I love this post! I love that you POSTED! Course, I'm not much better these days about that...
Trishelle, I love, love, love hearing you talk about your family and the things you notice about them. Love it.
And I'm sure you made it through your first year of homeschooling better than you think you did. You're just awesome that way.
Love you!
Okay, blogs are suppose to help me not miss you so much! But now I miss you more. (tears streaming down my face) I miss my couch time with Trishelle!
By the way...I love Chuck too. He's adorable!
Trish, I LOVE that every time I read your blog, I come away laughing. You sound as if you are just a delightful and hilarious as ever, and I'm glad Florida is agreeing with you.
I certainly commiserate with He-Man about the humidity. This summer in the Midwest is easily the hottest and most humid we've had since we've been here, and the ONLY way I intend to make it through sane, cool, and pleasant is to spend part of every day at the pool. I've never done this before, but I'm totally okay with trading productivity for cool-ness (not to be confused with actually being "cool" since I've never fit that description.) :)
I love you and I miss you!
And hey, let's talk soon. I want to hear all about your homeschooling adventure.
you have a gift for writing, even the title of this post is creative!
Welcome back. I was getting worried.
Glad you're back! I am sorry I missed your Utah visit, but thanks for the cupcakes! I also wondered about homeschool...glad you survived and succeeded! Your family seems great!
Soooooo glad that you are back. (Even though I'm not yet back, I have always kept reading.)
Will we get a hint of what your book is about? Can't wait to keep reading up on you guys.
Oh it's SO good to see how you guys are doing! And can I say we are huge Chuck fans too!! I'm glad you guys are doing so well. By the way, we totally thought of you guys when we went to the Scottish festival!
*sniff* *sniff*
This post made me miss your family soooooooo soooooooo soooooooooooooooo much. I'm glad we'll get to see each other in a few weeks.
I also love how you notice the little things about your family and are so involved with them. You're awesome.
