A Pretty Cake...

On a Delicious Note...

A couple of years ago, I had my first experience working with fondant cake decorating. It was fun but didn't I try it again for a long time.

Then, I saw the most beautiful cakes on my friend, Mary Ann's blog. Seriously, if they taste half as good as they look, they are absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! So I have been attempting to create again.

Here is a picture of my best friend/sister-law's birthday cake. It was a fudge cake with an Andes Mint ganache, covered with fondant polka dots. It's been an amateur attempt, but fun to do! Thanks for the inspiration, Mary Ann!

Beautiful cake! I'm impressed!
As far as your bad news...I just want to say that I think chiropractors are amazing. My whole family used to go to the chiropractor and we all felt so good! I think they are truely talented. I dont know how they can just look at you and know where you hurt. You guys are such a wonderful family and I know things will work out for you.
We recently had some issues with one of Chris' acting gigs and I was really upset for a long time and didn't want him to act anymore, but we learned alot from the experience and we learned to rely on the Lord more. Now I wouldn't trade that experience.

That cake is super adorable! Do you ever watch ace of cakes on the food network? You'd be completely inspired! It's like watching something on DIY and then you feel like you too can build that deck or remodel the kitchen by yourself, only it's all about cake.
